We are a sustainability-driven initiative that brings together tradition, conscious living, and thoughtful design.

At HARIT, we believe that eco-conscious living doesn’t have to be complicated, it can be simple, practical, and rooted in what we already have.

OUR STORY

HARIT Initiative was founded by Jui Pandharipande with a vision to reconnect sustainability with Indian traditions.

Inspired by the idea that meaningful change begins at home, HARIT focuses on transforming everyday choices into conscious actions. What started as a small step towards reducing waste has grown into a platform that promotes sustainable products, awareness, and lifestyle shifts.

WHAT WE DO

At HARIT Initiative, we work at the intersection of sustainability, tradition, and design. One of our core efforts is upcycling pre-loved, culturally rich sarees by transforming them into functional products such as laptop bags, backpacks, diary covers, pouches, and more. Each saree is carefully selected and thoughtfully redesigned to retain its essence while giving it a new purpose. Through this process, we not only reduce textile waste but also preserve the emotional and cultural value embedded in these fabrics, giving them a second life in a meaningful way.

We also offer a range of eco-friendly stationery designed to encourage conscious choices in everyday work and creativity. From notebooks and diaries to office and event stationery, our products are created with sustainability in mind ensuring that even the simplest acts like writing and planning become environmentally responsible.

Our eco-friendly lifestyle products focus on making sustainable living simple, practical, and aesthetically pleasing. This includes thoughtfully curated essentials such as glycerine-based soaps, bamboo tooth brush and other daily-use products that are gentle, mindful, and aligned with a conscious way of living.

In addition, we curate sustainable gifting hampers for individuals, corporates, and institutions. These hampers can be customized based on occasion, requirement, and purpose making them ideal for bulk orders, events, and conscious gifting. Each hamper reflects a blend of sustainability, utility, and thoughtful design.
